As we take a step into two brand-new locations situated in Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter –  operating in the award-winning building Mason Brother’s building and state-of-the-art 12 Madden Street in the heart of the Innovation Precinct – we’re on the lookout for a very special type of Sales and Community Manager… and that might be you!

Our new Sales and Community Manager will need to hit the ground running, being part of a talented team charged with filling these stunning spaces with a curated community of Auckland’s innovators and instilling our fun, vibrant, friendly and all-round awesome culture into these new sites (if we do say so ourselves!). These new spaces are already attracting huge interest, from both companies and individuals alike, onshore and off.

Generator is all about creating spaces for companies to thrive in, ensuring that we’re making our member’s lives better by supporting them to have a healthy work-life balance, lending a hand, and giving them a place to grow their business in our fun, nurturing environment.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll have targets to meet both in sales and revenue, but also for working with the huge team of individuals that make Generator the special place it is, to keep the energy high and the community happy.

These venues have the state-of-the-art design, technology and resources, including meeting rooms and breakout rooms for 6-20 people, showroom, display space, and flexible event spaces for up to 300 people. Generator will provide the best tools, space and technology for both members and external event organizers to be their best at every presentation, launch or meeting–it will be your job as the Events Operations Supervisor to anticipate what they need to have the best possible experience across our event facilities, from the first guest in the room to last.

Your friends will describe you as an all-rounder, who pays attention to detail but doesn’t sweat the small stuff, your smile will be infectious, your team impeccably managed and your passion for events will obvious to everyone you meet. You’re lively, personable, dedicated and enthusiastic about providing exceptional event experiences for both event organisers and their guests.

Reporting to the Hospitality and Events Manager, you will bring a few years of interesting and diverse events background with you that you can utilise daily to deliver. You’ll be a team player who can work successfully alongside our hospitality professionals and tech team to instil the Generator experience with everyone who comes into contact with us.

We’re opening two brand-new locations situated in Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter – in the award-winning building Mason Brother’s building and state-of-the-art 12 Madden Street in the heart of the Innovation Precinct. Due to this exciting growth, we’re now seeking new Member Concierges to join our Madden Street team.

As the first port of call for all our members and visitors, the role is varied and interesting. You will work to support our member network with their daily needs, varying from welcoming their visitors, troubleshooting the big and the small, and getting involved in member events.

You’ll also assist the Community Engagement team in their mission to grow and nurture our member community, supporting member communication programs and helping to ensure the energy and vibe of Generator drives member engagement and business. You’ll help introduce new members to our culture and you’ll make sure they feel at home.

The measure of your success is that our member network is busy, well supported and happy with their place at Generator. If you can provide this, by delivering brilliant customer service, we need to hear from you.
