Generator acknowledge, celebrate, and show support for the LGBTQI+ communities during Pride 2024 and beyond.
Pride month was a very exciting time at Generator this year, we celebrated Pride month in Feb in Auckland and during March in Wellington. The months were filled with all sorts of fun activities to raise awareness for the rainbow community, which we largely support. The community teams held Drag Bingo nights, Cookie days dedicated to Pride and it was amazing to see almost all of our awesome members get involved!
June, we are continuing to celebrate Pride with Sweat with Pride:
This June, Team Generator NZ is taking on Sweat with Pride this June to raise money for our Rainbow communities!
Sweat With Pride happens every year to raise funds for the Burnett Foundation, Rainbow Youth, InsideOut, and Outline.
All you have to do is sign up and join the team then get ready to log your activity and share your page (or the team page) and get those donations flowing. 21 minutes a day of getting sweaty is what they say to do, but definitely do more if you can.
It's great fun and you get cute prizes as you raise more and more! So get involved now to show your support!
